비슷하지만, 차이가 있는 두 표현에 대해서 알아보겠다.

b) Employers may not discriminate based on race or sex.

 

Only a) is correct.

b) Discrimination on the basis of race or sex is forbidden by law.

 

Both are correct, but by convention, b) is used most often.

결론
